THE ROOSEVELT (A Hilton Hotel)-Madison Ave-
nue at 45th Street, is but a brief step from New York's
most famous stores, theatres and night clubs, and is
connected directly by private passageway with Grand
Central Terminal.
THE ROUGH RIDER ROOM is the Roosevelt's dash-
ingly different cocktail lounge, where luncheon and a
pre-theatre dinner are also served. Keyed to the color-
ful tradition of Colonel Theodore Roosevelt's famous
Rough Rider Regiment, the room has murals brilliantly
depicting the Rough Riders in action, banquettes simu-
lating pony skin, desert flora and a corral fence.
