KROMEⓇ CARD BZ BY TCS-10 LAUDERDALE COUNTY COURTHOUSE RIPLEY, TENNESSEE Lauderdale County was established in 1835. It was named for Colonel James Lauderdale who was killed at the Battle of New Orleans. The City was named for a General Ripley, Veteran of the War of 1812.
