FORT BEND COUNTY COURTHOUSE

The fifth courthouse of Fort Bend County was
built in 1907. This area was established in 1822
as the first settlement in Austin's Colony. The
county was prominent in early Texas and homes
of Mirabeau B. Lamar, Jane Long and Col. B. F. i
Terry.
