Indian River, Michigan
The Catholic Shrine, standing in a beautiful pine
grove, south of Indian River, Mich., is one of the
most unique sanctuaries in the United States. The
Outdoor Chapel sits at the base of the World's
Largest Crucifix. There is also an Indoor Chapel -
Long-House Chapel, dedicated in 1948. It and the
Chapel extension have a seating capacity of 450
persons.
