BRONX PARK. Bronx Park lies along both sides of the
Bronx River above West Farms, and contains 856 acres, about
300 acres of which have been set apart for the Botanical
Gardens. Here floriculture is conducted on a gigantic scale;
enormous hot houses for the propagation of every variety of
flowering plants and ornamental shrubbery are the chief
attraction.
