This building is erected on property orig-
inally owned by Chief Justice Marshall, one
of Virginia's most distinguished statesmen.
The total cost was $750,000, 1 is a model
of modern school architectu The build-
ing was designed by Chas. Kryant, Archi-
tect, Richmond, Va. The old Sohn Marshall
house stands on the southeast corner of the
school campus and will be used as the Ad-
ministration Building for the City School
Board. It has been reparred and made fire-
proof
