The steel slide or upper artificial hill of the Pine Mountain Ski Slide is 150 feet high. The lower or the natural hill has a drop of 265 feet, making a total vertical drop of 415 feet. Riders take off from jump at 60 miles an hour. The longest unofficial jump made on this hill was 283 feet, and an official jump of 267 feet has been recorded Northern Post Card Company |
