ALASKA 67 CENTENNIAL EXPOSI-
TION, FAIRBANKS, ALASKA. This
Centennial marks the hundredth anni-
versary of the purchase of Alaska from
Russia by the U.S.A. – Alaska Natives in
Attahe, authentic Native Indian-Eskimo
village on the exposition grounds, are
shown dressed in Native costumes. The
King Island house in the background is
constructed entirely of logs lashed with
sealskin and the walls are covered with
dried walrus hides, tightly drawn.
