The engineering and manufacturing plant on the airport pro-
vides facilities for engineering prototype and production
manufacturing, modification, overhaul and testing of aircraft,
missiles and component systems. The Martinsburg Municipal
Airport, with run ways of 5,000 and 7,000 foot runways
accommodating all types of aircraft, is leased and operated
by the company. The company is complemented by scientists
and engineers in Nuclear Energy, Electronics, Avionics and
metallurgy of the Vitro Corp.
