B.M.C. DURFEE HIGH SCHOOL
Construction began in 1883, completed 1887.
Structure mainly granite quarried in Fall River.
The electric clock strikes hourly and the observa-
tory is one of the finest and is used by the
students. Capacity 1,100 soon outgrown by the
thirst for knowledge of the younger generation.
Technical High in 1930 was built for 1,400,
building for a total of 3000 students plus other
facilities are in the planning stage.
