WEILL HOUSE
The Weill House represents the first "modern house"
in Bakersfield with its indoor bathrooms and 12 foot
ceilings. Built in 1882 by California pioneer Alexis
Godey, the house was owned by pioneer merchante
Alphonse Weill.
