CULVER MEMORIAL CHAPEL
Culver Military Academy, Culver, Ind.
The Memorial Chapel is a living tribute to 6,500 Culver
men who served in the Armed Forces during World War II.
Dedicated in 1951, Culver's Memorial Chapel was made
possible by loyal devotion of alumni, patrons, and friends.
Situated among towering oaks, the Tudor Gothic Memorial
Chapel overlooks spacious 1350 acre lake-rimmed campus.
Outside dimensions are 152 x 72 feet and the spire towers
156 feet above ground. Housed in the Chapel tower is a
51-bell carillon. The bells were cast in Croydon, England
and vary in weight from 18 pounds to the great Bourdon
B bell which weighs in excess of 6,000 pounds.
