Boulder, Montana - Seat of Jefferson Co.,
(so named because of the massive boulders
strewn about the valley it occupies) was es-
tablished in the early 1860's as a stage sta-
tion on the Fort Benton - Virginia City route.
Boulder is steeped in Montana history.
