Additional Details:
Built in 1692, the King George Inn is the oldest building in Warren Township. For many years it was a stage stop on King George's Road, a pre-Revolutionary highway running from Perth Amboy to Morristown. During restoration work of 1953-54, original hand-hewn beams were uncovered in the Tap Room. The Dining Rooms are furnished in authentic period pieces. 181 Mount Bethel Road. M. James Hayden, Innkeeper
