government for Fresno County, one of the richest
agricultural counties in the United States. It is
situated in the great San Joaquin Valley, and is the
geographical center of the State of California. Farm
products consist of cotton, peaches, apricots, plums,
figs, olives, grapes and raisins. Vegetables of all
kinds and melons are grown here on a tremendous
scale.
