POST 1000
NEW MEXICO
#905
FEDERAL BUILDING — POST OFFICE
CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO
The town began in 1907 at Riley's Switch, a
siding on the Santa Fe, but grew rapidly after
the railroad brought its shops from Melrose.
Clovis is a jobbing center — storage elevators
and feeding point for livestock. This view
shows the Post Office building in this active
growing city.
