FW-181 The new International Bridge at Laredo, Texas, was built in 1956 and dedicated during the Washington Birthday celebration 1957. Among those present at the dedication was Governor of Texas, Price Daniel. The new bridge is four lane, replacing the old bridge destroyed in the flood of 1954. The expensive aluminum railings were stored during the flood and reinstalled on the new bridge. Color Photo by Don R.
