5:SF-59 ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH Founded in 1803 at San Jose, California, in the heart of Santa Clara Valley, located just 50 miles south of San Francisco. The original adobe church was damaged and the succeeding structures destroyed by fire. The present beauti- ful cathedral was completed in 1877.
