About the shores of Wintergreen Lake lies
the domain of the W. K. Kellogg Bird Sanc-
tuary, where hundreds of wild birds find re-
fuge, food and resting sites. In the center
foreground are the buildings of the sanctuary,
including the home of the director, pheasant
pens, upland bird and waterfowl pens and
houses. In the background are seen the build-
ings of the W. K. Kellogg Farm.
