The James B. Angell Hall houses the College
of Literature, Science, and Arts. Built in 1924
at a cost of over a million dollars it contains the
offices of the President, the Regents, the Grad-
uate School, and Literary College. It is devoted
largely to class rooms and study halls, with the
students' astronomical observatory on the roof.
