THE FORMAL GARDEN at Kansas State
College, established in 1921, is a show place
for the display of many kinds of garden
flowers. It frequently is a setting for student
weddings and a meeting place for garden
clubs and teas. Many of the plants in the
garden are native. Native red cedars enclose
the garden and the borders contain many
wild flowers of Kansas.
