The Penobscot is one of the finest office buildings in the middle west. It was constructed by Simon J. Murphy and cost a round million. It is 14 stories in height, is equipped with six plunger elevators of the latest designs, has a vacuum cleaning system, automatic thermostats in every room and has polished hardwood floors throughout.
