FRANCONIA NOTCH, N. H.: Owing to its position
perched high upon the shoulder of a lofty mouŋtain, photographs
of the wonderful Profile are extremely difficult to obtain.
Much time, effort and money have been expended and the
best result is here before you. Many of the pictures thus put
out are from paintings and sketches; the picture on this card
is made directly from a large photograph, secured with special
instruments and by hard work. It is absolutely true to Nature.
Ź This is the most stupendous and wonderful natural rock image
extant. Situated in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
in the idyllic Glen which holds the Profile House.
