(1) GRAND COULEE DAM.
(2) STORAGE RESERVOIR.
(3) PUMPING PLANT wil| lift irrigation water
from the storage reservoir 280 feet in
elevation to the main canal.
(4) TUNNELS and PIPES will connect the
pumping plant with the main canal.
(5) MAIN CANAL connecting pumping plant
(6) An EARTH DAM across each end of the
Upper Grand Coulee will impound water
in the equalizing reservoir 630 feet higher
than the Columbia River.
(7) EQUALIZING RESERVOIR from which a
million acres of land can be irrigated.
(8) Beginning of the UPPER GRAND COULEE.
