Grizzly Bear.--Few animals are so widely and deservedly

or wounded, but the grizzly displays a most unpleasant
readiness to assume the offensive as soon as it sees a man
Even the powerful bison falls a victim to the grizzly bear,
which has been seen to spring on the foremost bull of a
herd, and dash it to the ground.
