GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH
St. Francisville, Louisiana
The original church was built in 1828, 1
making it the second oldest church in
Louisiana. It was destroyed and rebuilt in 1858.
During the civil war, under a flag of truce, the
Masonic Lodge of St. Francisville, buried a Yankee
officer in the church cemetery. His grave may
still be seen.
