President William "Bill" Clinton was born on
August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas. His boyhood
home was Hot Springs, Arkansas. After being
elected to serve five terms as governor of Arkansas,
he became the first Arkansan elected President
of the United States on November 3, 1992, and
was inaugurated on January 20, 1993.
