Courtenay and Comox lie in the heart of
Vancouver Island's Comox Valley, Four
Season Vacationland. Each year the City of
Courtenay and local service clubs extend to
visitors a floral welcome - over a mile of
flowers lining either side of the main
thoroughfare. Here the Great Outdoors is a
way of life for the entire family. Good fish-
ing is enjoyed throughout most of the year
and the towns serve as a gateway to
Forbidden Plateau, Mecca for winter sports
enthusiasts.
