The Crown Zellerbach Elk Falls Mill was built in 1952 and
has over 1200 employees. Newsprint, Kraft Paper, Pulp and
Lumber is manufactured here. Campbell River and the
surrounding area is a large industrial and recreational
centre servicing Northern Vancouver Island. Fishermen come
from around the world to fish the illustrious "TYEE" of
Campbell River.
