Big Spring is located 256 miles West of Ft. Worth
and 339 miles East of El Paso on U.S. Highway
80 Interstate 20. Big Spring is on the main
line of Texas & Pacific Railroad, at an elevation
of 2,400 feet above sea level. Big Spring is the
county seat of Howard County. There is Oil -
"Black Gold" a plenty here in the heart of the
Permian Basin Empire.
