In our laundry,
clothes are not wrung through wring-
ers or machinery of any kind that can
wrench or tear them. They are placed
in a large receptacle, made to revolve
rapidly, and the centrifugal force forces
the water out of the clothes. This is
called an "extractor." Then comes the
drying-of which we will tell you
next month.
