the cabin after it was rebuilt in 1904. The Patterson Log Cabin was the first house built in Lexington, Ky., and was built by Col. Robert Patterson in the spring of 1776. Into this cabin he brought his bride, Elizabeth Lindsay, in the spring of 1780. In 1901, the cabin was purchased by John H. Patterson, taken to pieces and moved to Dayton, and set up in its present location |
