PUREBRED ST. BERNARD
Most experts agree that the St. Bernard originally
were brought from Asia by the Roman armies.
During the Christian era they were introduced into
Switzerland. It was then that they became known
world wide for their rescue work in the Alps.
Although they are a large dog they make a wonder-
ful pet and are very gentle.
