TOM SAWYER AND HUCK FINN
These two fence-painting boyhood chums, for whom
Samuel Langhorne Clemens will always be remembered as
Mark Twain, are the subjects of lawn ornaments at the
Quarry Farm on Watercure Hill in Elmira, N. Y., where
Mark Twain wrote in whole or part eight of his volumes
including the first half Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1874)
and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, 1876, 1880 and
1883,
