The Long-Tailed Tit is a common resident south of

Its call is "hoopoe" or rather hoop, hoop ho!"
The Martin arrives here in April and remains till
December. Its nest of mud is built under the
eaves of a roof, and on walls and cliffs.
The Siskin is a winter visitor, It is imported in
cages in large numbers from the Continent.
DIRECTIONS.

each bird and bend the wings upwards so as to give
