Field Museum Cafeteria, located on the ground
floor, is attractively decorated with painted maps of
the world as a whole, the continents, and the arctic
and antarctic regions. This decorative scheme suggests
the world-wide scope of the Museum's research and
collections. Color and design, control of temperature
and ventilation, and a wide range of beverages and
carefully prepared luncheon dishes at moderate prices
combine to make the cafeteria popular.
A separate room accommodates children and other
persons bringing their own lunches.
