is better known as "The Little Church Around the Corner"
from the fact that its rector once read the funeral service of
the Church over the body of an actor, after a neighboring
clergyman had refused, telling the friends of the deceased to
go to the little church around the corner". This simple in-
cident won for the church the affection of the whole dramatic
profession. Many a romantic marriage has taken place
within its walls.
