The International Rift Span, probably the
smallest international span in the world, con-
sists of a 90 foot rigid frame reinforced con-
crete arch, faced with native granite connect-
ing Wells Islands in the United States with
Hill or La Rue Island in Canada. This bridge
has a 30 foot roadway and a walk on either
side. There is an underclearance of 15 feet
above high water.
