WASHINGTON PRESS
The 3,350-ton, 12-opening, 76" x 130" Washington multi-platen
hot press shown on the reverse is the key item of equipment in the
new bagasse board plant of Tablopan de Venezuela, Caracas.
The press has patented Washington simultaneous-closing and
temperature-compensated platen guides. It has the flexibility of
timing, pressure and temperature control to produce boards of
widely varying thickness and density.
South America now has joined the continents of Australia,
Asia, Europe and North America in the worldwide span of
Washington hydraulic press installations.
