The official residence of Confederate President Jefferson Davis
(1861-1865). Now a Museum, it exhibits paintings, uniforms,
swords, and other relics of Confederate heroes, as well as per-
sonal effects of President Davis and his family. Two rooms are
restored to the 1861-65 period. The bust of Davis is in the Old
Hall of Delegates in the Capitol, Richmond.
