Little White House
WARM SPRINGS, GA.
Franklin D. Roosevelt's Georgia home has become an international
shrine. Each year over 100,000 people from all parts of the world
visit this modest cottage. In his own struggle against physical
disability he brought courage and hope to others who had polio-
myelitis. He founded the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation in
1927 and came frequently to Warm Springs from 1924 until his
death in the Little White House, April 12, 1945.
