is America's mecca for yachtsmen and motor-
boatmen. 112 Yacht and Motorboat Clubs are
found at strategic points along the waterfront.
Sailing races for all classes of yachts are held
frequently on Great South Bay, Moriches Bay,
Gardiners Bay and on Long Island Sound.
