| To the left of the Falls, 25 feet high, stands an old mill in a good state of preservation; in former times the wheels turned from sunrise to sunset, grinding the grain for the farmers in the vicinity, as well as for the laborers who worked on the Erie Canal. The falls and mill are most picturesque, adding greatly to the charm of the park. |
