The glacial pot hole is one of the curiosities of nature. It was uncovered in 1912 and gives a marvelous example of the work of water in solid rock. This pot hole is 14 feet 7 inches deep and was supposed to have been at the foot of a glacial waterfall. It is caused by the action of water rotating a stone which gradually wears its way down into the rock until the stone itself is worn out
