LAKE TEAR OF THE CLOUDS. Few peo-
ple conteinplating the great Hudson River, and the
mighty city in its mouth, know of tiny “Lake Tear
of the Clouds,” whence it sets out on its long jour-
ney to the sea. It is the highest body of water in
the State from which water flows through a visible
outlet.
