Akron-Canton Airport, located midway between
the cities of Akron and Canton, is operated
jointly by Summit and Stark County officials. The
new three and one-half million dollar terminal
building was dedicated June 22, 1962, accommo-
dates approximately 200,000 air passengers and
400,000 visitors annually, and is served by four
major airlines.
