I'm the guy on the ladder at the swimming platform. The photos were taken in 1969. The Fairhope Chamber of Commerce commissioned the photos. I worked next door at the news paper, the Fairhope Courier.
The catamaran is a Pacific Cat and was piloted by the Tommy Millham, of Fairhope and Mentone. His parents operated the Yard Arm Restaurant on the pier. They owned and operated a 40 Ft yawl, the Zira, which sailed evening charters out of the marina at the pier.
