12 Miles South of Albuquerque, New Mexico
-- is the Indian Pueblo of Isleta
This pueblo is one of the oldest and largest in
America -- and a striking feature is the old
church of San Antonio de Isleta. It is easily
distinguished by the two immense bell towers
and is thought to have been built sometime be-
tween 1605 - 1621.
The mission sanctuary and altar are very beau-
tifully decorated with many historic paintings
and statues.
