THE CHIMES in Harkness Tower, which were im-
ported from England, are considered to be among the most
beautiful in the world.
This tower is a part of the Harkness Memorial Quad-
rangle which cost over four million dollars to build, and
was donated by Mrs. Stephen W. Harkness in memory of
her son, Charles.
