The oldest plant of Aluminum Company of
America at New Kensington, Pennsylvania, 20
miles up the Allegheny River from Pittsburgh.
"Wear-Ever" cooking utensils are made here,
as well as aluminum sheet, foil, tubing, ex-
truded shapes, bottle caps, beer barrels, and
chemical equipment. The 1,500 ft. wall at the
river's edge was put there after the 1936
flood had done considerable damage to the
plant.
